A-Z Moving & Storage is ready to help any type of residential customers including relocation of apartments.
Apartment moves are normally smaller in size but they are very different requirements and special experience from movers.
Our movers are ready to deal with any special requirements, such as:
--Parking truck, some times in a busy urban streets;
--Elevators;
--Narrow hallways;
--Narrow doorways;
--Long carries, from truck to front door;
--Shuttle (FAQ.22);
--Hoisting (FAQ.23)articles thru windows or balconies).
Our fleet of trucks concists of different size moving vans. The regular size moving truck is 26' - 28'. However, we have some trucks that are smaller in size: 14' and 16' trucks.
The smaller trucks can better accommodate studio or small 1 bedroom apartments. The 14' truck can fit into small spots, it has plenty of room for those apartments and doesn't waist unnecessary amounts of fuel. It lowers the company's cost and avoids running huge guzzlers half empty - reducing our carbon footprint. We also use smaller trucks as shuttle equipment for those homes relocating from the areas that are impossible to be reached by regular size trucks. Especially in Los Angeles area there are a lot of areas with winy, narrow streets with big old beautiful trees and untrimmed branches in the hills of Calabasas, Hollywood, Malibu, Mount Olympus, Pacific Palisades, Santa Monica, Sherman Oaks, Studio City, Topanga Canyon, Woodland Hills.
A-Z Moving has help customers relocate from their apartments locally in California, out of town, and even long distance out of state.
The tariff's are different for local moves and long distance moves. Local moves are charged hourly and long distance are charged by the size and the tariff is based on the distance and the size.
